The time has come, its the beginning of one of the biggest tipping points in automotive history...the moment we all go ECO. Will you remember where you were? That's why we are here, to record and report on the most extraordinary changes of our time and bring the top "green automotive" newsworthy information straight to your screen!

The first step is always the hardest, whether it is conceiving and developing Green Car Design, designing the ultimate ecological vehicle, or buying one. Green Car Design was designed to become the pre-eminent online resource for green and eco car design news. Green Car Design is not a blog, we are not gearheads, we want to change the way we "think" of and use our cars, and we want to do it now. Some of us designers, others journalists, we stem from the automotive industry. We are on a mission to delve into other design fields as well, knowing full well that good ideas, designs, and concepts can, and should, come from everywhere. GCD is an online editorial as its the most fluid medium for communicating this cross-pollinating effect in design; it is also unrestricted in any way from geographical barriers, and we hope, cultural and eventually language ones as well.
